My research aims to use a strengths-based approach to help develop accessible tools that children and families from many different backgrounds can use to take charge of their own learning.

 

As an interdisciplinary researcher, I use a variety of methods to study topics including children's developing ability to use epistemic vigilance regarding information media and children's informal science learning.

Currently, I am a research associate in the Think Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas, working on the Project GARDEN (formerly CRADLE) aimed at increasing the accessibility and reproducibility of developmental science.
